I’m at the Kalish Workshop so posts will be few and far between this week
“Stan Kalish was a daring, innovative picture editor of the Milwaukee Journal from 1937 to 1950, in the days when few newspapers even had picture editors… The workshop is aimed at developing the integrated journalist with a strong emphasis on the visual presentation. Modern news organizations demand that all journalists be skilled and experienced in the use of photographs, layout, visual effects and their integration with other journalistic messages.”
