This is old, but… “We compiled this list by asking some of our favorite media writers — who get paid to pay attention to what publications matter — to vote for what they feel are the most important magazines on the newsstands, which were defined as the print magazines that most greatly influence politics, culture, business, technology, broadcasting, science, academics, student life or any other vital part of society. This is the Missouri School of Journalism’s list of the 25 Most Important Magazines in America.”
