Panic Software

These folks make Transmit, the best Mac FTP program available. They also make Audion for playing MP3s, CDs and internet music. And the handy Linkpad is nice, too. These guys just seem to hit dead-on when they decide to code an app. Nice work.

Do you like beer and gadgets? Heineken combines the two with BarTrek. They’ve identified top bars worldwide and will give you directions to them via GPS through your PDA. It also works with ol’-fashioned desktops PCs — just print out the maps and get there yourself.
