“This web site is about my journey through an MBA program. Okay, maybe ‘journey’ is too much. Maybe this a simple diary about what I learn while in my MBA program. But my hope is that it’s more. This site is about what we are teaching/learning in MBA programs, the source of business learning in America. Consequently, it’s as much about the business of business and the people in it who make the trains run on time and the mail get to where it’s supposed to go.”

“The study raises big management questions. Managers complain that people frequently hoard knowledge, fail to share credit with others, and generally behave uncooperatively. Office politics — a proxy for selfishness — is the second most common reason people give for quitting a job. (Number one is tension with one’s immediate boss.) It’s human nature, we sigh.”
